Is it wise to automatically enable "Trim content behind media items when editing" setting in reaper while doing a 4 point cut, so no overlapping items are produced? Probably yes?

Ways this could be achieved:

  • Action "Remove content (trim) behind items" (40930)
  • Enable setting "Trim content behind media items when editing" by setting &2=1 in "autoxfade" bitfield with "SNM_SetIntConfigVar()" function
